The Card is Printed. What Should I Do Now?

After checking your ID Card status, it displays “Card is Printed.” What should you do now? Normally, it can take up to 10 days to receive your ID Card at your doorstep, but still, if you want to check the status that after how much time your card will be delivered, you can check at Emirates Post.

You can check the status by entering your PRAN number, e.g., 800230330324164xxxx, at Emirates Post online.

  • Step 3: The popup window is the “Ask Hamad” Page. You can start asking your queries by entering your First Name, Last Name, Request Number, and Email.

“Ask Hamad” is always available; you can ask your queries by entering your details. It’ll guide you on how to deal with issues and provide you with a road map as well. How To Get an Emirates ID Card? – A Detailed Procedure

Lost Your ID Card or Card Has Been Broken? 4 Steps Procedure

Your Emirates ID Card is your identity and is one of the most important documents. In case you Lost Emirates ID Card or your card has been broken, you must immediately do the following steps:

  • Report The Incident: If you lose your card or suspect that it has been stolen, immediately rush to the nearest ICA Customer Happiness Center and report the incident so that your card can be deactivated. Ask ICA for your ID card number or a copy if you don’t possess one.

    In case of a broken card, take the card along with you. You must bring the following documents along with you.
  • GCC Nationals must take evidence proving their residency in UAE.
  • UAE Nationals must bring a family book or Original Passport with them.
  • Expatriates must take an Original Passport with stamped Entry Permit.
  • In case of ID belonging to a child under 15 years of age, parents must bring his/her original Birth Certificate with colored photographs against a white background.
  • Apply For ID Card Replacement: Once you’ve reported the incident, you can fill out the application form for an ID Replacement at any ICA’s Customer Happiness Center, or you can fill out the e-form online at ICA’s website or by downloading its app from iOS or Google Play Store.
  • Pay The ID Fee: You must pay a fee of 300 AED for a lost or replacement card. An additional fee of 70 AED will also be added if you’re applying through ICA’s typing centers in Abu Dhabi or any other one or 40 AED if you’re applying through an e-form at ICA’s website. Please ensure that this fee is applicable to all expatriates, GCC Nationals, and UAE Nationals. You can also get an express delivery of your Emirates ID card for an extra 150 AED.
  • Collection of Your New ID Card: Once you have submitted your application, you’ll receive a text on your registered number about the status of your ID card and its expected delivery. Normally, you’ll be issued the ID Card within 48 hours of submitting the application. In case of express delivery, you’ll receive your ID card within 24 hours of application submission.
